The time rift is closed and DS5 is returning to normal. The Marines are on a nearby planet for Manoeuvres when a Cardassian Transmission is overheard, regarding an attack from Starfleet ships.
These are Maquis & Founder ships, that have been rescued from the Dominion war and are now seeking revenge.
FUTURE MISSION
The Tempest
2 weeks after the return of Captain Tahir, an old friend comes to visit, but unknown to anybody, this friend is not all she seems.
Engineering is flat out finishing repairs to the station and putting the finishing touches to the new umbilical Docking arm and all is going well.
The Cardassians are finally settled on three decks of their own and have ships permanently docked at the station, but there is a new addition to the promenade that upsets them...the Ferenghi have moved in!!
Commander Villiers and Captain Tahir organise a "Girls Night" at the new bar, to which only those of the fairer sex are invited, including Tashas' visitor.
The party is well underway when it turns out that the visitor is a time traveller from the past and is not even a woman, but a cleverly disguised shapeshifter who pleads for help with a future event hat is slowly destroying his past.
Tasha & Karen take the guest to the CMO & CSO to see if they can help in any way, but as they do, there is a real emergency when the stations security is threatened by a remote lock on the new Umbilical by an unknown force......
